Congratulations
After receiving the news of the election of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Mexican Bishops’ Conference congratulates the Em. Card. Daniel N. DiNardo for his election as President-elect; and to the Hon. Mr. Archbishop José Gómez as Vice-President-elect.
We know well that we are humble workers in the Vineyard of the Lord, and therefore, it is our desire that both Conferences of Bishops continue working closely together, especially on the issues which bind us together, to bring the good news of Jesus Christ, and accompany our Communities to feel as one big family, and Sons of God, without ever feeling as foreigners.
May the good God keep you and enlighten you in the mission entrusted by your brother bishops to serve the Church at this important historical moment. We ask the intercession of Santa Maria de Guadalupe, Empress of America to cover and protect them with her mantle in this arduous but rewarding work that has been entrusted to them.

Felicitación
Tras recibir con mucho agrado la noticia de las elecciones de la Conferencia de Obispos Católicos en Estados Unidos, la Conferencia del Episcopado Mexicano se congratula y felicita al Emmo. Card. Daniel N. DiNardo por la elección como Presidente electo; y al Excmo. Sr. Arzobispo José Gómez como Vicepresidente electo.
Sabemos bien que somos humildes trabajadores en la Viña del Señor, y por tanto, es nuestro deseo que las dos Conferencias Episcopales sigamos trabajando estrechamente unidas, especialmente en los temas que nos hermanan, para llevar la buena nueva de Jesucristo, y así acompañar a nuestras comunidades a sentirse una sola familia, e Hijos de Dios, sin sentirse jamás extranjeros.
Que el buen Dios les guarde e ilumine en el oficio confiado por sus hermanos obispos para servir a la Iglesia en este importante momento de la historia. Pedimos la intercesión de Santa María de Guadalupe, Emperatriz de América para que los cubra y proteja con su manto en este arduo pero gratificante trabajo que les ha sido encomendado.
